Pastor Melvin G. Kornfeld - B.A, M.Th.
Born in southern Saskatchewan in the heart of the depression and the “dirty thirties.” In due time the education requirements were met. I was Ordained in my home congregation – Verwood, Sask. in 1962. Four parishes were served between then and 1980; Duval/Govan Saskatchewan, Selkirk Manitoba, Kamloops, B.C. and Red Deer, AB.
I joined a construction company as controller for a year and a half while taking a couple of college courses. 1982-1987 found me directing the Development program at Camrose Lutheran College. Having taken the Clinical Pastoral Education program at the U. of A. hospital the next 14.5 years were spent at the Edmonton Institution as Chaplain. Retirement came calling and the intervening years have been filled with serving the worship needs of many different congregations.
God loves you and so do I.
